The main reason that we decided to go to Colorado was to see family. My brother and his wife live in Grand Junction, and last year they welcomed twin girls. Which is very exciting as they made my parents, first-time grandparents and me a Aunt and my two older brothers Uncles. My brother and his wife have lived in Grand Junction for 6 years, my sister-in-law is from there and she moved down to Texas for a few years before they both moved to Colorado back in 2019. They got engaged in 2021 and married in 2022 here in Texas. And in September of 2024, the welcomed twin girls, who are fraternal, Avery and Farren.

Avery and Farren may be twins but they are so different. Avery, who was born first, feels a lot of big emotions that she doesn't understand and can easily get upset at little stuff, but she is so sweet and is always babbling. She currently loves rolling around and playing with her piano. Farren is such a funny bug, she currently has two teeth already at 6 months and loves sweet potato. She's a fiesty one and is always making me laugh with the funny things she does. She isn't much of a babbler but she is finding her voice and making it known. They both have so much personaily and I love being around them. Avery and Farren love going on car rides and so most of the places we visited we took them with us.
Funny Story The Twins are twinning
One of my favorite memories from my Sping Break Trip in Colorado was when we got to help feed the twins avocado. At first Avery was not very fond of the idea of getting rid of her bottle for some weird greens stuff, but after a couple bites she was begging for more. Farren on the other hand, is loving eating actual food as she is a full on bottle hater. She would get upset if we didn't feed her fast enough and most of the time we would give her the spoon to feed herself which she enjoys. Since we gave Farren her spoon to feed herself since she is able too, but she ended up smearing it all over her mouth and chin, looking like a little baby shrek. They have officially tried Avocado, Banana, and Sweet Potato and just have updated to their big girl high chairs!
